The Walking Dead: Michonne
April’s U.S. edition of Playboy will feature a six page story by Robert Kirkman which describes the Origin of Michonne from The Walking Dead. Since I’m a huge fan of the tv show, I haven’t read the comic books (much to the disgust of my co-writers) this new character took me by surprise and I think that the concept is badass! Trapped in her house with her zombie boyfriend and his best friend, she uses a neighbour’s sword to cut off their arms and jaws to create a safe escort in order to escape the infested area she’s trapped in! I love this concept of a zombie escort as a means to travel freely and let’s be honest, swords are just way better zombie weapons than guns.
