Excellent scene from The Return of Living Dead (1985). Talking zombies that can use a radio give them a whole new edge since it denotes intelligent brain eating.

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct

The first look at gameplay from the new Walking Dead video game. At the moment it doesn’t look like anything too special – the graphics and zombie animation aren’t that amazing and so it will have to remain pretty close to the plot of the tv series if it’s going to be popular. Having said that, you could probably sell anything if it had The Walking Dead written on it..

The Horde

The Horde, a zombie film from French directors Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher, “An end of the world battle between gangsters, cops and zombies.”

Set in a zombie infested Paris, angry cops are seeking revenge against Nigerian gangsters who have killed one of their colleagues. The cops decide to raid a deserted tower block in an apparent suicide mission and are immediately in over their heads with the gangsters. As Paris crumbles around them both groups realise that they have to escape the tower block that has attracted a lot of unwanted zombie attention. Brutal, bloody, trigger happy, this zombie movie doesn’t bother to explain itself and is pretty entertaining. Featuring unlimited ammo and a complete disregard for shooting zombies in the head (widely accepted as the main method of removing the zombie threat) The Horde has great characters, a bit of a predictable script, and some excellent visual effects and fight scenes.
